Use & Care

Directions for Use

  • Wagner cookware is pre-seasoned and ready to use. The seasoning will continue to develop with use, but you may add additional seasoning if desired.
  • Always preheat cast iron on low heat for 5-10 minutes before cooking. This will promote even heating and prevent food from sticking.
  • During initial use, avoid acidic ingredients as they can remove seasoning. Foods like pancakes, grilled cheese and french toast are recommended.
  • Wagner cookware is safe to use on any heat source.
  • To clean, simply wipe away food debris with a cloth, soft sponge or dish brush. Dry your cast iron thoroughly to avoid rust.
  • After cleaning, add a thin coat of oil for additional seasoning as needed.
