Our restoration process starts with a safe, gentle cleaning to ensure your vintage cookware retains its original character. This is followed by an expert re-seasoning, so your piece is ready to cook for generations to come.

- We'll email you instructions to ship your item(s) to us with a prepaid label.
- Once your cookware is received, we'll get to work on the restoration. This process should take about three weeks.
- We'll email you a shipping confirmation when your restored cookware is on its way back to you.

- Pricing is per piece, unless the item is a set (i.e. dutch oven with lid).
- We may take photos of pieces received for restoration to use for marketing purposes.
Restoration FAQ
Will it look like new again after restoration?
Not quite. While it will have a renewed appearance and uniform color, it will still show signs of its age such as pits and scratches. This is done intentionally to preserve the unique history and character of each piece.
How is the restoration performed?
Using only safe, gentle cleaning methods, we remove oils, rust, carbon, and other grime while preserving the cookware's integrity and character. This is followed by re-seasoning so you can start cooking again right away.
Can you restore aluminum (i.e. Magnalite) cookware?
No, at this time we are only offering restoration services for cast iron.
Can you fix a warped or wobbly pan?
Unfortunately not. Our restoration process is focused on surface finishing and does not address structural damage.
Wagner's cast iron restoration service worked a treat for a couple of cast iron pans my family received as a gift from my mother in law. When received, the Wagner Original reproduction from the 90s was heavily carbonized on the underside and stripping it through the usage of lye or other methods was a bit more than I wanted to handle alone. So, I purchased the services with a reasonable discount and proceeded to properly package and mail the pans.
Customer service was prompt, informative, and flexible. Be sure to communicate openly with them if you have needs or questions.
The whole process took a couple of weeks from receipt of the items. When I received the pans, they were restored beautifully. The carbonization was entirely eliminated and the pans were essentially like new. My mother-in-law was stunned by the restoration and my wife and I use the cast iron regularly. It's easy to see why so many people rave about the quality of these simple, traditional articles of cookware.

I was totally amazed at the quality of my frying pan restoration! Generations of use had taken its toll on its appearance and functioning as non sticking. Having put cast iron aside for some time to use "Non stick" pans proved to be a huge mistake. Eventually the "non stick " pans wound up sticking and the coating scraping off! NOT GOOD! Cast iron from now on! Eventually I will have other pans restored. So happy I had this done!

Re-discovered grandma's Wagner Ware 5-Star Skillet Set from the 1940s after years in storage. Decided to honor her by sending the set to the new Wagner Cast Iron for refurbishment. I’ve had my grandmother’s well used cast iron pans for over thirty years. The pans were in such terrible condition that I never used them, but couldn’t part with them. I discovered that Wagner Ware had a restoration option. The pans look like brand new and were returned to me in under 30-days. I cannot believe that the pans cleaned up so well. Amazing work!
